I’ve been so bad about posting, but I’m a busy guy. The daily radio show (and all that surrounds it), is a full time job. My apologies (as if you care)!

Howie Lindsey, with CardinalSports.com, send local media a list of games each week for us to pick winners on. I’ve been near the top (at least last I checked), but NOT QUITE THERE.

With it being championship week, instead of picking winners of individual games, it’s time for us to pick conference champions.

Here are my picks:
BIG EAST – WVU
BIG 12 – KANSAS
ACC – DUKE
PAC-10 – WASHINGTON
BIG TEN – MICH ST
MOUNTAIN WEST – BYU
ATLANTIC-10 – RHODE ISLAND
CONFERENCE USA – UAB
SUN BELT – NORTH TEXAS
SEC – KENTUCKY

Where have I gone wrong? Let me know.

My Conference Tournament Picks

Howie Lindsey at the Louisville Sports Report and CardinalSports.com does something with a bunch of the sports media members in Louisville where we pick winners of 10 of the biggest games each week.

Back on March 4th, he had us do it with conference tournaments, picking the winner. Thought I’d share, with some more recent thoughts on my picks.

BIG EAST

Pittsburgh – Wish I would’ve went with UConn now. They’re a bad matchup for Louisville, and there’s no way they lose a third time to Pitt.

ACC
North Carolina – For the first time in a long time, I truly don’t buy Duke as a contender.

SEC
Tennessee – The SEC is down and Tennessee has the best combination of talent and experience (relatively speaking, of course) to get the job done in Tampa.

BIG TEN
Michigan State – It’s either them or Wisconsin. I wish I could figure out Purdue, but I can’t.

PAC-10
UCLA – Ben Howland is the man. Tourney is in the backyard, and they’ve still got the firepower.

BIG 12
Kansas – I’ve always gone with the team who flies under the radar all season long after the same team won big the year before. The new parts to the lineup, while less-experienced, want to show people they are just as good as last year’s champs.

CONFERENCE USA
Memphis – Picking anyone else would’ve been laughable (Can Mike Davis play spoiler?).

MOUNTAIN WEST
BYU – I keep thinking back to Vegas last year, when this team basically embarrassed Louisville.

ATLANTIC 10
Rhode Island – A team easily capable of beating all the others and deserately needs to if it wants to be included in the field of 65.

MISSOURI VALLEY
Creighton – Yep, screwed up on this one. See Rhode Island for my reasoning.

It’s really only JUST BEGUN.
